Laura Vassallo

Laura Vassallo was born and raised in Caracas, Venezuela. She arrived to the United States (Gainesville, FL) in 2008. She began her education journey at the English Language Institute at the University of Florida. In 2010, she received her Associates Degree in Business Administration from Santa Fe College. She also holds a Bachelor’s in Business Administration with specialization in Management from Saint Leo University. While at Saint Leo University, Laura was also a student assistant who contributed and participated on different on-campus activities while providing support to professors, staff, and students.

Prior to joining the George & Cabrera team, Laura was the Multicultural Marketing Specialist for a local community blood bank in where she pioneered the development of an internal Hispanic-community focused program to educate and support the relevance of blood donation to support local hospitals in Florida, Alabama and Georgia. As a Multicultural Marketing Specialist, Laura was responsible for overseeing, developing and coordinating different multicultural marketing plans and strategy for the organization. She was also responsible for developing and implementing diversity and inclusion initiatives for all the regions and departments.

As an immigrant herself and throughout her professional career, she has always been surrounded by different cultures and truly believes that all immigrants have something in common which is to find and provide for our families a better quality of life and future than our countries have to offer. She is a passionate and caring professional who enjoys working with clients from around the globe.

Laura is fully fluent in Spanish, Italian and English. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, exercising, dancing, outdoor activities, and spending time with her loved ones. She is a certified Zumba Instructor and is working on obtaining her personal trainer certification.

Laura is currently the Lead Case Manager at George & Cabrera Immigration Attorneys assisting clients throughout their consular processes around the world.
